Becoming a mom has been single-handedly the most amazing, challenging, purifying, and exciting experience in my life thus far.  Although I have always been a family & baby photographer, having my own littles has made me cherish my work even more.  God gives us these beautiful souls to raise with all the patience and love we can muster up and being a part of my clients' sweetest moments has such a special place in my heart. My sessions take place both outdoors and in my natural light studio in Grand Coteau, Louisiana.  My goal is to always watch for the beauty of the inbetween moments during your session and to deliver a timeless, whimsical, bright, and happy gallery so that you see your family the way God does - as a gift of pure love and devotion that reverberates through the generations.

My sessions are known for being totally relaxed and full of laughter.  Your kids can run free and dads love the no-pressure approach I have to photographing families!  Whether you're scheduling seasonal sessions with me or rarely ever have your photograph taken, you'll feel at ease and walk away with a wonderful experience as a memory with your favorite people, I promise.

what should i wear to my sessions?

If you look through all of the photos on my site and throughout the blog, you'll notice a theme of bright colors, pretty patterns, soft tones, neutrals, and lots of textures!  My work is film and film inspired, so whites and creams photograph so beautifully, too!  The only colors I recommend my clients avoid are neon colors, red, hot pink, bright yellow, nor bright oranges.

what are some great location options for us?

There are so many beautiful locations in and around Louisiana!  My studio is located in Grand Coteau, La.  We can have you session in or around your home, at state parks, local parks, or private land that you have permission to visit!  I suggest choosing somewhere that means something to you or has the colors, vibes, and light that you gravitate toward.

can i order prints directly from you?

Absolutely.  Your online gallery includes a print store that I've personally sourced for the best quality prints and albums.  Prints from the online gallery are the only ones that I can guarantee colors to match my film scans and edits!  You are welcome to order elsewhere, but I cannot promise the colors will be correct nor the quality up to my standards.
